What is Opinion Outpost and how does Opinion Outpost Work?
Once you’ve completed sign-up process, which is pretty quick and easy, like most other survey platforms you’ll be asked to complete a welcome survey, which allows Opinion Outpost to pair you with the opportunities that are most relevant to you. After that you can start earning points for surveys on a range of topics. Most surveys are quick and won’t last more than 10 minutes or so, though longer and shorter options are often available.
You need a minimum of 100 points to redeem $10 cash via PayPal. This equates to $1 for every 10 points earned, or 10 cents per point. If you’d rather cash out with an Amazon or iTunes gift card, Opinion Outpost requires only 50 points to redeem an Amazon or an iTunes gift card. This represents a cash out value of $5.
A typical survey takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete. The amount of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.
How Do You Get Paid With Opinion Outpost?
After taking your first online survey with Opinion Outpost, you’ll start to earn points which can later be redeemed for cash via PayPal or for gift cards to brands like Amazon.com and iTunes.
Opinion Outpost has a referral program will award you $1 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. You can earn up to $5 in total. Find the “refer a friend” tab when you log into your account to grab your custom referral link to share with friends or family members or whoever you think you might benefit from joining.
Is Opinion Outpost A Scam or Legit? It’s LEGIT! But..
Opinion Outpost is absolutely legitimate. However, like many survey platforms available, there are good and bad reviews.
When I checked the Better Business Bureau, my search result came up as “Survey Sampling International, LLC”. Survey Sampling International, LLC has a BBB rating of F, which is the lowest rating available.
One of the complaints about Opinion Outpost, and one that is not uncommon for this type of platform, is people having trouble cashing out when they reach the threshold. Here is an example:
If you are going to sign up for Opinion Outpost, I would suggest cashing out at the lowest possible threshold in case your account gets frozen. Don’t accumulate too many points before cashing out if you can.
I do feel there are better survey platforms to join than Opinion Outpost but I’m not going to advise you not to join, because there are also positive reviews of this platform. All I’m saying is be wary!
