Whether you want a career from home or earn extra money from home, there are plenty of options available to you. There are more and more platforms available where you can sign up as a freelancer and bid for work that you are appropriately skilled for, that you can complete at home.
Enter CoudPeeps.
What Is CloudPeeps?
CloudPeeps is an online job marketplace. People who sign up as as a peep bid for jobs they can do, and once awarded those jobs, complete the work to a high standard and get paid as agreed with the client.

What is CloudPeeps and how does CloudPeeps Work?
CloudPeeps is a global freelancing platform operating out of approximately 25 countries, where independent professionals and businesses connect remotely. It is perfect for professionals from a range of different skills and experiences to find jobs that are matched to their skills and experience.
There are a range of skills that are in demand on CloudPeeps, such as administration, community, content, copywriting, design, development, email, growth, marketing, paid advertising, public relations, SEO, social media, and strategy.
From the client perspective, they simply list the work that they have available including the skills required. They receive proposals from appropriately qualifies peeps, then match the right peep with the work. The client then connects with the peep and hires them to do the work:
Signing up for CloudPeeps is straightforward however it does require some time and effort to complete your profile well.
Once you’ve completed the above sign up form, you’ll need to:
- add a short bio
- complete some personal information such as location, timezone, and why you want to become a peep
- upload an avatar
- add at least two social media profiles
- add a professional summary
- add at least two work experiences
- add at least two portfolio items
- define your pay range
- describe your availability
You can also add your eduation, skills and interests. Once you’ve completed work on the platform, you can request references which will be added to your profile.
Applications are normally processed within one week of being received.
How Much Does It Cost To Join CloudPeeps?
CloudPeeps is free for clients hiring talent and posting jobs. However, there are some pricing plans for freelancers.
There are three different plans available:
- Free plan
- Standard plan $9 per month
- Plus plan $29 per month
Only peeps who are signed up for the paid membership (Standard plan for $9 per month or Plus Plan for $29 per month) have access to the job board. To access the job board, you need to be an approved peep on a paid plan.
The more detailed your profile, the more likely you are of getting work. The same can be said for your reputation on the platform. The most successful peeps spend time building their profile and submitting tailored proposals to job listings.
Clients outline their current jobs and budgets, and these jobs are available on your job board. You can apply to the position by sending a proposal through the job listing. If it’s a match, you are then engaged and invoice directly on the CloudPeeps platform.
You can also create a storefront where you can offer service packages for clients to purchase. This is a great way to highlight your areas of expertise and promote rates for the type of work you like to do.

How Do You Get Paid With CloudPeeps?
What you are paid is up to you and any potential clients to discuss. You can set your own rate on your profile, create service packages to sell from your storefront, and negotiate any rates that clients advertise on job listings.
When you submit an invoice, the client will receive an email and notification. They will have 5 days to review any invoices prior to CloudPeeps charging their card on file, or can opt to pay the invoice straight away. Your payout will then automatically be processed using the direct deposit details you set up in your account.
Payments are currently processed via direct deposit using Stripe.
Is CloudPeeps A Scam or Legit? It’s LEGIT!
CloudPeeps is absolutely legitimate.
CloudPeeps weren’t listed on the Better Business Bureau (BBB). They have some reviews on glassdoor, but most are from the employee perspective rather than as a ‘peep’. That being said, the reviews are overwhelmingly positive.
I’m yet to find anything negative about CloudPeeps.
The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is having to pay a monthly fee in order to have the potential for work. There is something that doesn’t sit very well with me about that, but it does seem to be a thing. This is not the first freelancing platform that I’ve seen charge charge freelancers a monthly fee, and it won’t be the last. You just need to work out if you’re OK with that, and if you think it will lead to enough work that the cost outweighs the benefit.
