12 Minute Affiliate claims to be a ‘revolutionary’ system that simplifies the process of making online commissions with affiliate marketing. They make some pretty bold claims and it’s easy to see why loads of people have jumped on the bandwagon.

According to them, there are no products to create, websites to host, copy to write, or ‘techie stuff to figure out’.

What they say you need get results with 12 Minute Affiliate:

1. A Desktop or Laptop computer

2. An internet connection

3. A willingness to follow simple instructions consistently. Therefore, you can LITERALLY work from anywhere in the world.

Let me say right up front that I am not affiliated with 12 minute affiliate in any way. I just care about my readers finding great ways to make money online and helping them change their lives for the better.

How 12 minute affiliate works

In a nutshell, 12 minute affiliate is a done for you sales funnel with pre-written emails and pre-designed landing pages. It is designed to take all the work out of it for you, so that you’re up and running and ready to start earning affiliate commissions in as little as 12 minutes.

The pre-made sales funnels have been created for three main affiliate marketing niches:

• Personal development
• Home business
• Weight loss

There are a few different membership options you can go with:

1. The Basic Membership

The basic membership is $9.95 for the first 14 days, then $47 per month or a once off fee of $397. This membership gets you:

• 1 of 3 niches
• 10 fully ready to go affiliate funnels
• 80 done-for-you follow up messages
• Funnel wizard for your 1 niche

2. The Gold Membership

There are a few upsells once you’re in. First, there’s a Results Blueprint for $39, and then there’s a ‘done for you setup’ for $67.

Don’t forget that you’ll need to purchase an autoresponder, such as AWeber, and you’ll also need to pay for advertising to drive people to your landing page/s. Unless you know what you’re doing with advertising, you are likely to LOSE A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY. Please do not expect to start making money for nothing with this system. You’ll also be promoting low quality Clickbank products.

All of the selling points of this system (the done for you landing pages and ready to go emails) are worthless unless you have lots of traffic. That means, lots of people reading your emails, visiting your landing pages, and clicking on the “purchase now” button. You will be paying substantial amounts of money to send volumes of people to your sales funnel.

12 minute affiliate recommend the use of solo ads to get around this problem. In this scenario, your third party solo ad vendors are paid to send this out to their preexisting list of email subscribers. This email list is probably already getting spammed left, right and centre with similar spammy offers, so I really can’t see this as being a profitable way to go. I have no doubt that the majority of their spammy emails end up in junk folders.

Is 12 minute affiliate legit?

12 minute affiliate is legit, but I certainly can’t give it the thumbs up. I do not believe that you will make money with this system, in fact you will likely lose money on advertising strategies that are doomed to fail.

One of the things that I really don’t like about this system is that you’re not taught how to create your own business that doesn’t rely on pushing scammy products. As an affiliate marketer, you want to be in control of what you’re promoting, and promote that you can really get behind and support. You also want to promote things that you know people WANT to find and searching for on a daily basis.

My recommended way to make money online

Don’t waste your hard-earned money on shiny objects that over promise and under deliver. If they sound far too good to be true, they probably are. If you hear that something is a “done for you” system, then be concerned! If you plan on embarking on an online career, you need to expect to put in the work to make it happen. Things won’t ‘just happen’ for you because someone says that it has been done for you.
