Views from my office – January 2018

Making money from home opens up so many possibilities. You can work anywhere you want, at any time you want.

Your work from home office is wherever you choose.

Being summer in January, the possibilities are endless.

St. Kilda Beach

Today’s office was down at St.Kilda beach, Melbourne.  We were so spoilt by the weather today.  Usually I sit on a picnic blanket with my laptop, but it was so bright today I found a picnic table in the shelter and away I went.  My boys spent hours at their favourite skatepark while I caught up on some online refresher training.  Every now and then I would watch them master a new trick.  We had a truly great day.

View from my office St Kilda

Requirements: shelter, laptop, phone, water.

Added bonus: sunshine, happy children, no physical injuries!

Clifton Springs

Clifton Springs

Clifton Springs is a beautiful part of the world. It’s so quiet, like a little hidden gem. We had a walk along the beach and skimmed rocks across the water.

Requirements: picnic table, laptop, phone, water.

Added bonus: sunshine, visit to grandparents, unexpected cookies!

Geelong skate park

Geelong skatepark

We have spent many hours at this skatepark over the last couple of years.  Whilst it isn’t close, we always have a good day when we go.  The boys wear themselves out for hours, while we either get some work done or read the newspaper.

Requirements: coffee, wifi, laptop, phone, more coffee.

Added bonus: happy children, new tricks!

Where will my office be tomorrow?

My loungeroom? Our local park?

Most likely it will be another skatepark, as that seems to the flavour of these school holidays so far.

The fact is, my office will be wherever it suits me and my family.

You too can enjoy a home office from wherever you want, whenever you want.

You have nothing to lose.

Leave me a comment or a question below and I’m happy to help.

  1. Hey Melissa. Great to see you are taking the leap! The program looks interesting, although it is not clear on how the training program turns in to money? Can you help me understand more about that?

  2. Hi Scott,

Thanks for your question! The step-by-step training allows anyone to create a successful, long-term business within the online space. The training will show you how to build a quality website, and how to generate revenue from your website. You don’t need any experience or products to turn the training into a lucrative business. Scott, you will fine more detail about the training here:

If you have any more questions, please ask and I’ll be very happy to help.

  3. Hi Melissa

I love this idea of being able to go wherever you want, whenever you want and be able to work both indoors and outdoors. As well as doing what you are enjoying you are also able to keep an eye on your family at the same time. I would love to have views like you have when working inside and out.

Living in Scotland makes it a bit difficult to try and work outside.

    • Hi Cheryl, one of the best views I’ve ever seen is of Edinburgh Castle!
I have very fond memories of our trip to Scotland but yes it was rather chilly.
As the year progresses I’m sure there will be fewer outdoor posts from me. Pictures of views from the window perhaps?! Thanks for visiting
