Inspirational life quotes

Today has been a bit harder than usual for me.  I’m not entirely sure why – I’ve had my coffee, I slept well and life is good.  I guess it was just once of those days where I needed some additional inspiration.  And it made me seek out some inspirational life quotes.  Because, who doesn’t love positive inspirational quotes?!

So then I got wondering. Why are things like inspirational quotes and sayings, or positive affirmations, so important?  It is because they can very quickly and easily change our mindset from one of tiredness, boredom, isolation, frustration, or even feelings of being overwhelmed, to a mindset of hope, desire to do something positive, and even give us an achievement focus.

Staying motivated working from home

When you work from home, you don’t always get validation from peers, managers or customers and clients that you are on the right track, or that you are valued, making a difference, or doing a great job.  Self-confidence can be one of those things that really holds us back. Especially when we want to try something completely new, take on a new challenge (even small ones), and start a new career.

Life self-confidence, sometimes our own sense of personal achievement can be diminished and when self doubt creeps in, we need to remember that we are in charge of our achievements. No-one but ourselves. And when it comes to goal setting, there are often no external goals set for you when you work from home.  They need to be driven by you. If you don’t set goals for yourself, how will know how you’re doing?  On a personal and professional level, you are setting your own goals.  When you achieve your goals, hopefully you are taking a moment to celebrate your achievements.

When you have your own career from home, validation needs to come from within.  And if you’re anything like me, it is far easier to be critical of yourself than it is to pat yourself on the back and acknowledge that you’ve done something really well.

I came across some ‘motivational quotes to live by’.  I wanted these quotes to focus on our perceptions of who we are.  I think that for anyone establishing a career from home, or for anyone who has already embedded for themselves a career from home, there are some aspects of ourselves that we always need to be mindul of. Self-confidence, a sense of personal ahievement, and goal achievement.  These are authored by Brian Tracy.

Taking action is the first step towards achieving something great.  What do you want to achieve?  Financial independence? New skills? Taking your business to the next level?  A full time career doing something you love from home?  More time with family?

As many of you would know, I believe that an excellent way to get started in an online career from home is through affiliate marketing.  There are of course other things you can do over time to build your business from home, but affiliate marketing is an excellent way to get started.  And if you already have your own business, but just need a website to really get your business moving, it’s easier than you might think.
