I’ve recently heard about ZoomBucks so I thought I’d investigate it further for you. I’d heard that it was popular a few years back. Well it is now back after a four-year hiatus, with the promise to be better than ever. It seems that they have refreshed their site and their offering so i was keen to check them out. I am not entirely sure what caused them to go into hiatus in the first place, but that didn’t stop me from wanting to find out more. In fact, I see loads of offerings that change their name and brand and come back looking the same (red flags!) so when I hear of a site that has been around for a while and relaunched with the same name and better offering I have a reasonable amount of confidence before I even start.

As I mentioned, ZoomBucks is back after a four-year hiatus.

Like most rewards sites, ZoomBucks partners with brands needing engagement as a marketing strategy. The site, in turn, “recruits” members like you and me to do online tasks to help with market research. Afterward, you get rewarded in cash or in kind for these accomplished tasks. Membership is free (and on that note – you should never need to pay to join a site like this).

How ZoomBucks works

Signing up is easy. It literally only takes a few moments and you enter your email address and a password.

There are a range of tasks to do on ZoomBucks. It’s not just about surveys. I have nothing against surveys as a supplemental way to earn income. I just don’t think it’s the most viable way to go about it (especially since it can get dull and repetitive). And as we all know based on your demographic profile, the surveys can be few and far between.
Some of the survey providers include Your Surveys, Live Sample and Global Test Market. There are also many survey walls to choose from such as PeanutLabs, TapResearch, RevenueWall, TheoremReach, SaySo Rewards, and Pollfish.

Aside from surveys, members can complete offers and watch videos. At least with completing offers it doesn’t require the kind of demographic information that most surveys do. All that a company needs is your name and email address, and you can sign up with a trial offer, test their app, or even get a product to try out.

And while I am NOT a fan of using my credit card for GPT tasks, ZoomBucks does give the cancellation option for both paid and non-paid trial offers. Otherwise, you might find yourself getting surprised by a recurrent billing. With that being said, always do your research on any third party who asks for your credit card details.

You can also get paid to watch videos on the ZoomBucks site. It’s a pretty effortless way to earn some money if that’s your thing, especially for those who see commercials on TV and social media sites regularly. The videos often require you to watch in their entirety. You can accomplish other tasks while doing this and still get credit for it.

Higher payouts

It appears that ZoomBucks typically pay a bit higher on specific tasks compared to other get paid to and paid survey sites. Since their relaunch they claim to have increased their survey payouts by around 80% on the average.
ZoomBucks also offers legit partners for completing offers. I’m happy to be familiar with several offer partners since I’ve already come across some of them in other get paid to sites I have seen before – TrialPay, GrabRewards, OfferToro, and AdWall, to name a few.

A glance at the ZoomBucks rewards catalog reveals plenty of gaming goodies like PlayStation, Xbox Live, Steam, Nintendo eShop – you know, the kind that younger, tech-savvy kids would blow a gasket over? However, there’s also a tab that’s labeled “shopping” which caught my interest straight away. When I clicked on it, I saw ecoupons for Macy’s, Lowe’s, Staples Rewards, and Gap. There are also gift cards for Walmart, Amazon, PayPal and eBay – stuff that can make working from home just a little bit more convenient. It is great to have a decent range of coupons like that.

Is ZoomBucks legit?

The bottom line is – ZoomBucks is promising. I’m glad it’s back from its self-imposed hiatus, at any rate. I’m even more pleased for its menu of hundreds of rewards, which has something to offer to practically anyone. On top of that, ZoomBucks allows faster payouts at a lower minimum withdrawal amount compared to other rewards sites. At just the equivalent of $3 in earnings, you can already request for a payout, and it will be delivered to your account in approximately 48 business hours.
ZoomBucks is absolutely legit. It was before, and it is now. You won’t become a millionaire so don’t quit your day job! And it doesn’t claim to make you loads of money either. It’s a nice little way to make some extra money on side, and also to test the ‘make money online’ theory – yes it does work!
