What is Ipsos i-Say and how does Ipsos i-Say Work?
Ipsos is a global market research company. It’s the third largest survey-based research firm in the world, employing more than 15,000 people in more than 80 countries worldwide. i-Say is the digital platform that runs Ipsos surveys.
Signing up is easy. You’ll need to complete a registration form that asks questions about you and your household. Ipsos i-Say use this information to determine which surveys are relevant to your profile and your consumer habits.
The model is straightforward – take surveys, earn points, and get rewards:
You’ll be contacted via email whenever there are surveys available for you. Most members receive at least one survey each month and on average, about four per month. The more surveys you take, the more points you earn.
For every survey available for you to complete, you will get a clear idea of the number of points you are going to earn, together with how long it will take to complete the survey.
You need to remain an active member of i-Say so that your points do not expire. If you haven’t responded to any survey invitations for a while, i-Say may deactivate your membership. If your membership is deactivated, any points in your account will be forfeited 30 days after your account is closed.
If you unsubscribe from the community or if your membership is terminated, then your points account will be closed. Any points remaining in your account longer than 30 days from termination will be forfeited.
There is a loyalty program available between 1 January 2020 and 31 July 2020. If you respond to a particular number of surveys within this period, you’ll be awarded bonus loyalty points as follows:
- 5 surveys – receive 25 bonus loyalty points
- 15 surveys – receive 50 bonus loyalty points
- 35 surveys – receive 75 bonus loyalty points
- 55 surveys – receive 150 bonus loyalty points
- 75 surveys – receive 225 bonus loyalty points
- 100 surveys – receive 300 bonus loyalty points
How Do You Get Paid With Ipsos i-Say?
You will earn reward points which you can redeem the points you earn for electronic gift certificates, store vouchers and charity donations. You must have at least 1,380 points in your account to redeem.
Surveys are typically worth between 5 and 250 points and members get an average of 4 surveys each month. So you will not get rich with i-Say, that’s for sure. However, Ipsos i-Say are very clear about that, and they will never give you the impression that this is a get-rich-quick scheme.
Digital gift cards are usually delivered instantaneously via email at the same email address as your i-Say account. However, sometimes orders may experience a 72-hour delay due to system verifications of order details.
For all other rewards, you should allow up to 3 or 4 weeks for delivery. It’s important you’re aware of this in case you’re wondering where your vouchers is after 2 weeks.
Is Ipsos i-Say A Scam or Legit? It’s LEGIT!
Ipsos i-Say is absolutely legitimate. Whilst you will not make a fortune, you will have access to a few surveys per month, and if you remain active and complete the surveys as they come in, you will earn points you can cash in for rewards. Is Ipsos i-Say worth your time and effort? It depends – if you like the model of doing surveys in exchange for rewards then yes it’s worth your time and effort. If you want to make more than pocket money, then perhaps it isn’t. It all depends on your expectations.
There are no reviews on sitejabber, however Ipsos i-Say does have a Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating of F. This is the lowest available rating. There are a number of complaints, none of which appear to be responded to by Ipsos i-Say (at least not via the BBB page):
I was quite shocked by this rating because my own research, together with what I hear around the traps, is that Ipsos i-Say is one of the better and more reputable survey platforms. Most of the complaints seem to relate accounts being deactivated. It’s very important that you read the terms and conditions of this platform (and indeed other similar platforms you are considering joining) because they do have rules you need to be aware of before you sign up.
